PLC PROGRAMMER
Enterprise Automation Inc. is a control system integrator located in Alpha New Jersey and is currently seeking a PLC Programmer to join the team. We are looking for enthusiastic team players who are knowledgeable in their field and aim to deliver results by thinking out of the box.
Responsibilities:
- Perform PLC programming in accordance with project specifications and established company standards
- Configures PLC hardware in accordance with established company standards
- Participation in FAT and SAT tests.
- Customer training
- Inspection of customers’ existing installations and advising the team on opportunities for improvement including additions, upgrades, replacement, and, maintenance and optimization service.
- Provide customer technical support by phone, email and site visits
- Some travel required to the customer site for startup and testing
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from a college or university accredited by ABET, or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of industry experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in PLC programming, including ladder logic and function block
- Demonstrated proficiency in OIT programming/configuration. HMI programming would be a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of various PLC network protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with writing reports, SOPs or other customer-generated documentation
- Excellent at solving problems with the ability to think outside the box and a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness for local travel 10% of the time, sometimes with little or no notice
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
